Upcoming Events
The Center for Play Therapy is so happy to announce that we will be accepting most insurance companies in the Fall of 2017!! We know the importance of finding the perfect fit for care for your little one and recognize the need to provide the best treatment.

We are so grateful for your patience throughout our beginning and are so excited to move forward in continuing to be the only Play Therapy practice to provide services to the community of Madison and the surrounding areas with the support of insurance policies.

We have begun adding clients to the list to begin receiving services in Fall of 2017! So, please contact us with any questions and/or if you would like to get on our Play Therapy Intake list! Happy Fall to everyone and don't forget to play in those beautiful leaves!!
New Parent Support Play Sessions!

We are taking new clients at this time and are also ready to begin a 6-week Parent Support Play Session schedule that welcomes all and any parents and their little guy or gal; age newborn - 18 months. We will spend each week discussing on a variety of parental support concerns and needs, while all along, focusing on ways in which you can incorporate numerous play techniques with your beautiful baby!

The sessions are on Tuesdays from 9:00 - 10:00 am and will begin when the class has at least 4 parent/baby groups. This way, we can have the best chance to gain knowledge from each other while learning amazing ways to play with your little one. The cost of the class is not covered by insurance, however the price is pretty reasonable at $150 for the full 6 weeks! Yay!

Please give us a call to sign up now and/or if you have any questions and need more information!

Take 25 Child Safety Event

The Center for Play Therapy is incredibly happy to announce it is teaming up with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to host the Take 25 Event that promotes safety by asking parents/guardians/the community-at-large to take 25 minutes to speak to children about safety. This event will be on May 25th, 2014 and will include a multitude of safety booths, activities, games, prizes, resources for parents/teachers/the community, as well as food and beverages! Please check back here often for more updated news as we get closer to this super important event that will promote child safety and education to all about safety and what we can do as a community to make our neighborhood safer!

I am asking local businesses to download and print out Sally the Safety Saurus and post it in their storefront window so it can be viewed by any child/parent/citizen that walks by. This icon will serve as a visual reminder for children and teens who are feeling unsafe and needing to seek immediate safety out of harms way. Please support the need to strengthen our community and protect our children.
